Born and raised in Hong Kong, Charlotte is preparing for the launch of her newest tech venture in 1H2016. She recently founded a social media marketing and creative consultancy called empyr+co, with a speciality in activating start-up brands. A strategist and storyteller with a holistic approach to brand building, she has 5+ years experience in marketing, business development and growth for start-ups, with regional contacts in Asia. This is her 4th start-up, previously a CMO of a last minute hotel booking app and co-founder of a charity platform in Beijing.  She studied Economics and Pre-Business at New York University, Digital Marketing at Genereal Assembly and was an investment banker at Macquarie.
